The individual will also require energy to think, move and do work. Therefore such a person will require consuming carbohydrates and fats. There are many sources of carbohydrates but they should be consumed in minimal amounts. As for fats, individuals are usually advised to go for unsaturated fats as compared to the saturated ones.

With a balanced diet in place, care should be taken not to over eat. One should aim to eat just enough of each food group. Aspect number two in this fit weight loss program is physical exercises. It is advised that a person in the program engages in activities like jogging, walking, rope skipping, stair climbing, and gym workouts among other activities. This is so as to burn down the calories gained from food to ensure they do not accumulate on particular parts of the body.

A person should therefore pick one activity that he or she feels he can easily manage. The physical activity should be done daily for a particular period of time. The individual should however not overs train himself during the exercises and ensure to get enough resting time after the activity to help the muscles heal well. A lot of water should also be drunk when exercising to avoid cases of dehydration.

Therefore healthy weight loss involves one getting into a balanced diet and engaging in physical activities. This is a complete opposite of lifestyle when compared to the sedentary one. Strict adherence to this healthy lifestyle is required for people to achieve their goal of losing pounds and even after achieving this goal, such persons should continue leading the proper lifestyle.
